Black White and Pink Skateboard

This is my favorite art work that I have done so far this year! I love the color of this board, black white and pink are all great colors mixed together. I love the designs on this board. I like how you see the falling guy in the middle of the board. You can tell there is great balance between the board, and I nailed the symmetry! There is a huge flower on both top and bottom of the board. I loved how it shows the repetition of the dots, and have circle shapes on the outside of the flower petals. Variation is also a key principle of design because you can see the different areas of designs. Elements of art would be many lines, and shapes. This was a great project and I enjoyed it! I will be keeping this skateboard and framing it! Feel free to comment on my skateboard.!

One Point Perspective Room

This is my one point perspective room. I do not have a lot of imagination so it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to. I have cabinets on the far left of the picture, along with a slide coming out of the wall onto my bed. The Coffee table is probably one of my favorite pieces that i have in this room. The window on the back wall, I really don't like it. You can tell that i didn't take my time, the sunflowers are bigger than my whole house, so it kinda looks like my house is placed underneath the sunflowers. The room right next to my room has a pool! Its the best thing ever, and indoor pool, that is my favorite area in this whole picture. As you can see the water slide going into the pool! This is what I would want in my dream room. The balance is leaning more to the left, I feel like there are more on the left than the right of the picture. You can see the texture of the pool looks like there is moving water, which is what I was aiming for. There is great shading on the cabinets. The bed sheets look o.k but I could of made it better.! Overall this is the one point perspective drawing black and white I am currently painting a two point perspective and will be up soon!

Angelina Jolie !

This is my second black and white drawing I have done so far this year! This was much harder than the profile of my Dad, but it was a fun challange. As you can see the contrast of black and white varies throughout the face. The darkest part is under the chin and the lightest area is the forehead. The hair is very balanced as well. The defined lines of the hair show the texture which made the hair look realistic. Even though this was my second drawing there are some areas I woudl of changed.  the lips and nose could of been shaded better making the nose look more realistic. This drawing was a great success!

My Dad!!

This is the first black and white drawing I attempted to draw. I love love love this drawing. It came out so perfect. The contrast of black and white made the picture come out at you, you could totally tell this was my dad with the original picture. The mustache was perfect! you can tell the texture of the mustache and the lines and shading shows were he had grey hairs! Also the hair truely explained his fresh new hair cut when the picture was taken. The space of the backround was perfect, if I put anything in the backround it deffinetly would of ruined the whole profile of my dad. If I could change anything it would be addding texture on his shirt. Overall, this is my favorite drawing so far.
